August 1st Liber-TEA Party
Did The Ohio Liberty Council cover the costs of the rally?
YES! Thanks to your overwhelming generosity and the hard work of our volunteers, we covered the costs of the rally! We even have some funds left over that we will be using to expand and improve our website, purchase educational materials, and fund a leadership summit at the end of September.
What happened to the petitions and e-mail sign ups?
The petitions for healthcare and cap and trade have been turned over into the capable hands of the Cincinnati Tea Party.
We are adding the petitions for the state sovereignty resolutions to those that have already been collected by the Ohio Freedom Alliance. The goal is to accumulate 10,000 petitions by the end of September 2009 and hold a press conference to submit them to the legislature.
The email signups have all been digitized and input into the system we are using for our email newsletter.
Questions about The Ohio Liberty Council
Who funds the OLC?
To date, all funding has come from the OLC leaders and private citizens that believe in our cause.
What is different about the OLC compared to other groups already in existence?
It is not a group which seeks large numbers of people. It is a council of leaders. We seek membership of any non-political organization which shares belief in our Declaration of Principles.
What is the purpose of the OLC?
To unite conservative grassroots organizations for greater effectiveness in the state and nation, and to provide resources for member organizations to strengthen their own groups.
Who are the current members of the OLC?
