The Ohio Republican Party (ORP) after spending more than a year “Missing In action” as the Tea Party movement fought against the bailout, Cap and Trade and the Health Care bill, has finally swung into action. It is bombarding Republicans throughout the state with cards endorsing candidates for the State Central Committee in order to defeat … not liberal Democrats … but Republicans from the Tea Party movement.
The cards are as slick as anything you would get in a U.S. Senate race which usually costs about $5 million. Originally they were marked by “Paid for by the Ohio Republican Party”, but the latest two versions we have seen did not have this disclaimer. Nonetheless, with the ORP bulk mail permit, the ORP logo, the ORP endorsement stamp and the pseudo-Tea Party logo, it is still clear who is paying for this. The pseudo-Tea Party logo with the words “Tea Party Values” on it, has outraged the Ohio Liberty Council, which characterizes it as “false advertising”.
A suit has been filed with the Ohio Elections Commission about the perceived violation of party rules and state law with these endorsements, which have not been authorized by the ORP’s governing board. In an initial review, the OEC ruled that there is “Probable Cause” and ordered that the case be held by the full Commission. In his defense, ORP Chairman DeWine argued that it was perfectly acceptable for the Party to endorse incumbents. However one incumbent who has a reputation for standing on principle against DeWine (Rousseau), was not endorsed by the Party; instead the Party endorsed his challenger. In other cases the people receiving the Party endorsements are not incumbents, just “Party loyalists”.
Tea Party members were encouraged months ago to run for committeeman and committeewoman at the county and state level, in order to increase their influence in the major political parties. Many have heeded that call, and now the ORP is trying “bar the door” to keep them out, regardless of cost, party rules or state law.
Considering that the voters rejected “tax and spend” Republicans In Name Only (RINO’s), causing the Party to lose control of the Congress in 2006, and that the voters condemned the Party for its silent consent to the corruption of the Taft Administration, causing the loss of the Ohio House of Representatives as well as all but one statewide office in 2008, one would think that the ORP would welcome some fresh blood, fresh ideas, and perhaps a change in direction. Not so. They have lost their way. They have forgotten that their own self-perpetuation is not our highest priority.
The attachment is a list compiled of all the known Tea Party veterans who are running for State Central Committee, as well as a few incumbents with a conservative voting record on the State Central Committee. We urge everyone to throw away the ORP postcards, and VOTE FOR the candidates on this list in your State Senate District. They have all been vouched for by Tea Party, 9.12 or other patriotic organizations that have been actively defending our liberty throughout Ohio.
If you can, help us spread the word. Tell your friends and neighbors. Every one of them. You can get a “walking list” of your precinct from your Board of Elections. Forward this email to your distribution list. Write letters to the editor. Talk about it on the call-in talk radio shows. Put up a sign more than 100′ from the polling place on primary election day, urging people to vote for the people on this list.
It is time for the Ohio Republican Party to become part of the solution, and not part of the problem. With your help, it will.

The District 6 male (and proudly so) should read “Charles Henthorn” as his name will appear on the ballot. His last name is not ‘Henshall’.
Moreover, he is very much opposed and in fact through some less than regular GOP communication circumstances was not nominated ans so could not receive the “endorsed” tag. He is being opposed by the 30 year sitting dead weight RINO, Patrick Flanagan.

Alex M. Triantafilou, the head of the Hamilton County Republican, is not our friend. He just engineered a deal in which his soon to be X-wife was hired by Green Township Trustees to fill a position that she is not qualified for. The position pays over $49,000 a year. I guess that’s one way to get the residents to pay his child support.

This is not a big shot. The tea party candidates are a threat to both RINOS and Democrats. If they were doing their job, they wouldn’t have to worry about it. It’s time to take a stand and get some of the idiots out of congress for good. It’s time to take back our country from these fools and get people voted in that will do the job that we pay them for.
